Harry Potter™: The Exhibition is a groundbreaking touring exhibition that celebrates the iconic moments, characters, settings, and beasts as seen in the Harry Potter™ film series and the Wizarding World through best-in-class immersive design and technology. This unique in-depth exhibition delights visitors through powerful storytelling and innovative, interactive technology and features original props and costumes.

INTERACTIVE STORYTELLING AND IMMERSIVE TECHNOLOGY

Choose your favorite Hogwarts™ house, wand, and Patronus to begin a personalized journey through this immersive experience: plop down in Hagrid’s™ giant chair, squeeze into the Cupboard Under The Stairs, and practice your Quidditch™ skills by throwing a Quaffle, all while learning behind-the-scenes filmmaking details.

If you purchased a timed entry ticket, please do not arrive before your selected time session. You will be admitted at any time during that time session (for example, if your ticket is for 10:00 you can arrive any time up to 10:30), but not before. If you purchased VIP or Flextime tickets you may enter at any time.

No, food and drinks are not permitted inside the experience.

If you arrive late, you can start your experience in the next free time slot. Please note that this may result in a longer waiting time.

A typical visit takes about 60-90 minutes.

All ticket types, including VIP and Flextime, include a one-time entry into the exhibition. There is no re-entry.

Yes, all guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes! Exhibition-exclusive merchandise will be available for purchase at our shop.

The interactive experience is suitable for young and old. Few areas of the exhibition can seem a bit spooky for very young audiences.

Yes! We like to invite visitors to explore the Wizarding World in costume. Magic wands are also allowed inside the exhibition. Please share your photos with us at @harrypotterexhibition and #HarryPotterExhibition!

Of course, we take the applicable COVID 19 pandemic measures very seriously and implement all regulatory requirements on site.

Harry Potter™: The Exhibition takes place at the METAStadt in Vienna: Dr.-Otto-Neurath-Gasse 3, 1220 Vienna, Austria.

Tickets can be booked online at HarryPotter-Ausstellung.at and at all oeticket outlets. For spontaneous visits, tickets can of course also be purchased at the exhibition.

Limited parking is available on site. Numerous bike racks can be found at the stop "Erzherzog-Karl-Straße", only a 3-minute walk away.

The stop Erzherzog-Karl-Straße can be reached by S-Bahn (S80) or regional train (R81), tramway (25) and busses (26A, 86A, 87A, 94A, 95A, 96A).

Harry Potter: The Exhibition celebrates its European premiere in Vienna, Austria and will tour to the next country after a short period of time. Stay up-to-date with our newsletter about the upcoming stops as well.

For prevention purposes, we always comply with the requirements of the authorities, of course. Currently, the wearing of FFP2 masks is recommended, but this is not mandatory.

Guests with sensory sensitivities should be aware that the exhibit features background music, film clips, non-flashing lights, motion-controlled audio and video, and other media elements.

Harry Potter™: The exhibition is reserved for human fans of the Wizarding World. Registered assistance dogs are of course welcome, but please contact us to register them before your visit!

Fresh air is great, so feel free to come to the METAStadt by bike.

If you come from the Hirchstettner Aupark via Stadlauer Straße, you can park your bike at the METAStadt site, bike racks are available at the stop Erzherzog-Karl-Straße.

By the way, if you come via Erzherzog-Karl-Straße ideally you should leave your bike at the bike stand directly at the stop of the same name, from there it is easier to walk than to cross the main road.

In the underpass of the stop Erzherzog-Karl-Straße take the staircase "Dr.-Otto-Neurath-Gasse", in 250 meters you are standing directly in front of the METAStadt.

We recommend to use one of the many P&R facilities on the outskirts of Vienna to get to the METAStadt without traffic jams and stress.

If you come via the Westautobahn kommen, kannst du auch in der P&R Hütteldorf parken und von dort aus die S-Bahn S80 directly to the METAStadt (stop Erzherzog-Karl-Straße). The address for your navigation system is: 1140 Wien, Deutschordenstraße

Coming from the south you can park your car at P&R Liesing and take the REX1 or the S-Bahn 2 or 3 to the main station. From there the S80 and the R81 leave every 15 minutes to the METAStadt (stop Erzherzog-Karl-Straße). The address for your navigation system is: 1230 Wien, Liesinger Platz 1

The METAStadt is only a 2-minute walk from the Erzherzog-Karl-Straße stop.

Arrival by S-Bahn (S80) or regional train Regionalzug (e.g. R81)
From the platform (3+4) take the stairs to the underpass, turn right and take the next staircase on the right ("Dr.-Otto-Neurath-Gasse"), in 250 meters you will be standing directly in front of the METAStadt.

Arrival by Bim (25) or Bus (26A)
From the platform, take the escalator or stairs to the top and then go left through the underpass. Take the second staircase on the right ("Dr.-Otto-Neurath-Gasse"), in 250 meters you will be standing directly in front of the METAStadt.

Arrival by Bus 86A, 87A, 94A, 95A or 96A
With the buses you stop directly in front of the underpass in the direction of METAStadt. Take the second staircase on the right ("Dr.-Otto-Neurath-Gasse"), in 250 meters you are directly in front of the METAStadt.

Of course, we keep lost and found items stored with us. If you have lost something in the interactive experience, please contact our staff in the foyer - they will be happy to help you. After the visit, you can also contact us about this here for more information.

You are welcome to leave jackets and bags at the wardrobe in the foyer for a charge. Lockers are not available. Please note that the exhibition can only be visited with bags up to A4 size. Backpacks are not allowed.

Accreditations to visit the interactive experience must be approved in advance. Approval can only be granted after verification by the licensor. Requests including information about the medium must be sent to office@allegria.at The approval process will take a few weeks

The audio guide with a lot of behind-the-scenes information and exciting stories about the Wizarding World will soon be available in German as well as in English. The booking is made online, and you can then use the audio guide on your own smartphone - also apart from the interactive experience.

This experience is different than the previous. Harry Potter™: The Exhibition is a comprehensive touring experience that takes advantage of the latest innovations available in immersive design and technology to provide guests a highly personalized, interactive and engaging experience.

A tour of Harry Potter™: The exhibition usually takes 60-90 minutes. But feel free to give yourself more time – there is a lot to discover! The last admission is always granted 90 minutes before the end of the day - please note our opening hours. Öffnungszeiten.

Because we display authentic props and costumes from various Wizarding World productions, items on display may vary by venue.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition pays tribute to all eight Harry Potter films and the great Wizarding World. Legendary scenes and behind-the-scenes information can be seen throughout the exhibition. It is not necessary to have seen all of the films to enjoy the exhibit, but visitors will see content from across the franchise's chronology.

Reduced admission is available for children and young people up to the age of 15, students up to and including the age of 26 and senior citizens. In any case, please have your ID ready. Discounts are only available on the regular, time-slot bound tickets. Children under the age of 3 are admitted free of charge.

Children only have to pay for the interactive experience from the age of 3 and receive regular time slot tickets at a reduced price up to the age of 16.
